America's largest retailer of both new and used vehicles, AutoNation, employed QualPro's MVT® process in order to maximize the sales from their advertisement investment. AutoNation's broad range of MVT® efforts included everything from improving the effectiveness of their newspaper and internet advertising to determining the best mix of broadcast, print, and internet advertising expenditures. The MVT® process began by first identifying 34 potential improvement ideas that were practical, fast, and cost-free to implement and eventually subjecting them to MVT® experiments. QualPro's implementation of the right newspaper ads allowed AutoNation to discover which specific advertising methods would significantly boost their sales while lowering the cost. Overall, MVT® helped AutoNation to maximize their sales through print and internet advertising at the most efficient costs, while ultimately raising their comp sales 9% over their previous trend line.
