Kerry Stone is an Account Director for QualPro with over twenty seven years experience in performance improvement applications and training. As a QualPro consultant, process improvement statistician, seminar instructor, and project manager, Kerry is a leading authority on the use of statistical methods for continuous and batch processes in the chemical industry. His extensive experience also spans a variety of other industries including manufacturing, mining, paper, textile, petroleum, and service.
Prior to joining QualPro, Kerry served as a process improvement statistician at the Union Carbide Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, improving various casting, sampling, and measurement problems.
Since joining QualPro in 1984, Kerry has consistently delivered breakthrough performance improvements using QualPro's 12-step MVT Process. His qualifications include on-site consulting efforts with over 100 companies in the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as over 500 training seminars. Kerry has partnered with many Fortune 50 and Chemical 300 companies, including such industry leaders as Exxon, BASF, and DuPont. His successes have been featured in Industry Week, The Economist, Quality in Manufacturing, USA Today, and other industrial publications.
In addition to his accomplishments improving chemical processes, Kerry has successfully applied the MVT Process to maintenance, engineering, accounting, sales, marketing, administration, customer service, safety, logistics, and environmental activities. He is a member of the American Society for Quality Control (ASQC) and has given quality-related lectures for numerous professional and academic organizations.
Kerry received his Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee.
